It is clean and it is in great shape and very working condition, Dazey Short Order Chef Waffle Baker Sandwich Maker & Griddle. This 1990 electric waffle iron features reversible Teflon-coated non-stick plates for waffles on one side and flat grill/griddle plates on the other side. Use it closed for grilling or use it open and laid flat for a griddle and cook on both sides at once doubling the cooking area. That's twice the food in the same cooking time!! This American-made black waffle/griddle is model # DWG300 and was made by Dazey Corp in Industrial Airport, KS. The two oven quality heating elements use 1000 watts for making fast waffles, pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers, chicken, steak, eggs, bacon, hot dogs, brats, etc.The black Teflon coated waffle grids have some light scratches but are in overall good condition. The flat griddle side shows very little signs of usage and almost no scratches.) All of the black Bakelite handles and legs are in great condition. The power cord is also in great condition with no defects. The temperature dial can be adjusted from Light to Dark. This waffle iron/grill has a floating hinge to accommodate many size foods. To use the grill in the open & flat position, pull the top portion of the grill straight up on the hinge and lower it flat. The top handle will serve as a level leg for grilling in the flat position. The griddle plates also have a recessed rim around the perimeter that allows for drainage of grease to one corner into your plate or bowl. The waffle iron has a data plate on the bottom, which is intact and legible. It has a serial that dates this unit at 032291. This was made right here in the USA. This 21 year old electric waffle iron has been tested and it works great! Iron measures 9.5" tall & 9.5".
